Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and safety checks for energy services machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and service documentation.
• Familiarity with use of diagnostic equipment and tool safety practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork with supervisors, operators and maintenance staff.
• Commitment to safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and proper PPE usage.

Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Mechanic role located in the Midland‑Odessa Area. The Mechanic will perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles, heavy equipment, and related machinery used in energy services operations. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, replacing parts, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards. The role involves maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with supervisors and operators to schedule repairs, and responding to urgent maintenance needs in a timely manner. The Mechanic will also follow company safety policies and industry regulations, keep work areas organized, and collaborate with team members to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, including lubrication, fluid changes, parts replacement, and safety checks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service documentation, and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment commonly used in mechanical repair.
• Commitment to safety, including adherence to company policies, OSHA guidelines, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and other maintenance personnel.
• Physical ability to perform hands‑on work, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in outdoor or field environments.
• Previous experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in energy services, construction, transportation, or related fields preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training, certifications, or vocational education in mechanics is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to work full‑time schedules, including occasional overtime based on operational needs.
