This career site is for external applicants only.****Job Description:****Job Summary**The Field Mechanic is responsible for performing intermediate-level maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks on a variety of machinery and equipment in the field. This position requires moderate experience, the ability to work independently, and a great attitude with a focus on professionalism and improvement. **Responsibilities*** Service, maintain, and ensure proper function of hydraulic fracturing equipment pumps and pneumatic systems* Perform basic mechanic duties (i.e., filter changes, diagnostics, repairs, etc.)* Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts and create work orders for all discovery work and performed repairs* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (i.e., order parts using Power Apps, generate QC daily reports, etc.)* Immediately communicate failures to Field Mechanic Lead or Supervisor* Supply own tools for each shift.* Perform general housekeeping of parts trailer, service trucks, and work area* Safely drive a company vehicle day or night, on all road types, and in all weather conditions* Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)* Follow HSE procedures on location (watch for high pressure lines, observation of red zone boundaries, perform lock out tag out, etc.)* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications*** 2 + years mechanical experience, required* A Technical Associates degree or certificate is preferred* High School diploma or equivalent, required* Maintaining a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, required* Must know basic hydraulic fracturing equipment, pump and blender operations, and be able to identify key blender components* Must be familiar with electronic instrumentation and automation equipment* Clear communication skills, able to effectively interact with team members, leads, and supervisors* Must be able to communicate, read, and write in English* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, Power Apps, and able to quickly learn other work-related software* Safety conscious, observant, and willing to use stop work authority when necessary* Must be physically able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days, nights, holidays, and weekends* Must be physically able to safely perform duties in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold* Must be physically able to remain alert and safe during exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noises* Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift* Must be physically able to safely lift or move 50 lbs. without assistance* Daily bonus for days worked, subject to change* Housing provided depending on work site location proximity to office/yard* CAT Class Factory/Tri-Tech training* ProPetro & Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) Training**Physical Demands** The physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role’s essential functions.
