Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for Full-Time Material Handler shifts in New York. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, plus a $0.75 shift differential. Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, and weekend options, with specific hours and overtime as needed.

You will move merchandise, complete packing and shipping tasks, and support multiple departments while maintaining safety and attendance standards. Responsibilities include data entry, high-quality customer service, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Adept multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to cross-train in at least 2 departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules and report violations.
