Job summary

Envolve Client Services Group is seeking a Full-Time Make Ready Technician/Groundskeeper to work at Walnut Trace Apartments in Raleigh, NC. You will prepare units for move-in and maintain the exterior of the property.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team. The schedule includes some weekend duties, with compensation of $20–$22 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well with others as a team and take direction from supervisor but have the initiative to work independently. Basic writing and reading skills required.
• A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.
• Some plumbing, electrical, general maintenance and appliance repair knowledge preferred.
• Previous multi-family experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Prepare an apartment for move-in after the previous resident has vacated it.
• Report unprofessional areas on exterior appearance and recommend improvements.
• Repair and prepare walls, doors, trim, closets, and cabinets for painting.
• Ensure operation of appliances and systems (HVAC, stove, refrigerator, etc.).
• Repair minor problems and report major issues to management prior to move-in.
• Maintain window treatments and door hardware.
• Perform weatherstripping installation and tile repairs as needed.
• Re-key locks and provide keys for leasing prior to move-in.
