Job summary

Omega Management Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance across the residential portfolio. You will repair, clean, and restore interiors, exteriors, and site areas following manufacturer directions and safety guidelines.

A high school diploma and at least one year of maintenance experience are required. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and current liability insurance are also necessary.

The Maintenance Technician performsgeneral maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire portfolio. Responsible for maintaining in cleaned and repaired condition the property interiors, exteriors, and site using materials and equipment and following manufacturer's directions for same. Continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the property.

Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities

• The employee shall perform his/her duties using standard levels of productivity and dependability, ensuring completion in a timely and zero-defect manner
• Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the entire property
• Assist and maintain landscape and irrigation systems
• He/she must portray a clean, neat, well-groomed professional appearance
• Job requires company-approved attire with identification badge in sight
• Must be honest, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and team/project oriented
• This position has no authority that is not specifically delegated from the Supervisors
• He/she must be customer service oriented and genuinely support and promote good resident/tenant relations and service
• The employee must have the ability to work independently, be able to direct others, a willingness to learn, and good communication skills and be willing to participate fully in staff meetings and designated training programs
