Job summary

Golden Haven Care Center in Glendale, CA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our 99-bed skilled nursing facility. Under RN supervision, the LVN provides quality patient care, applies the nursing process, and supports residents’ total well-being.

This full-time role offers a rotating 4 days on / 2 days off schedule with AM/PM shifts (7:00–3:00 and 3:00–11:00). Compensation is $38.00–$43.00 per hour, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement

Qualifications

• California LVN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year LVN experience in a skilled nursing or related setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Conduct focused patient assessments to identify individual care needs.
• Monitor and assess residents for physiological and psychosocial changes, reporting significant findings promptly.
• Collect, analyze, and document patient information and nursing observations accurately.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
