Cradling Hands Pediatric Care Corp in Ocala, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) team. You will deliver skilled nursing care to medically fragile children under supervision of an RN or physician, in a non-residential daycare setting.

Competenze

• Current, active LPN license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred).
• Experience in pediatric, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric medical conditions and equipment.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Title:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PPEC

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center provides skilled nursing care to medically fragile and/or technology-dependent children in a non-residential daycare setting. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or physician to ensure safe, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Manage medical equipment such as feeding tubes, ventilators, oxygen, and tracheostomies
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, and mobility
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
