Job summary

Quarry Lane School Inc. seeks a full-time substitute to come onto campus each day when students are on campus to cover teacher absences for any subject or grade.

The substitute will create engaging, organized lesson plans and maintain a positive classroom environment aligned with school policies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and has at least two years of teaching experience, with strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a lifelong interest in learning and creates organized, meaningful lessons.
• Covers teacher absences for any subject or grade on campus.
• Maintains a respectful classroom environment and adheres to school policies.
• Communicates with administration and teachers as needed.
• Manages classroom behavior and student safety.
• Supports mission of the school and acts as a positive ambassador.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
