Lower School Substitute Teacher (2026-2027)

Position Summary

The Lower School Substitute Teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans prepared by the classroom teacher and maintaining a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment during the teacher’s absence. Substitute teachers may also assist with other school-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting preferred, but not required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in education or a related field.

Ability to create a positive and supportive classroom environment and work collaboratively with students and staff.

Compensation & Schedule

$22-$25 per hour; commensurate with experience.
