Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions. The role follows a 9 days on/3 off pattern, with progression to a Placed Houseparent position.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth is required.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
