Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to deliver high-quality dining experiences for our resort guests. In a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, you will prepare, cook, and plate menu items to Executive Chef standards while supporting a collaborative culinary team.

The role emphasizes food safety, teamwork, and efficient station setup, with flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary education preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate menu items according to recipe, presentation, and quality standards.
• Review daily menus, prep lists, and station assignments with kitchen leadership.
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned kitchen stations before and during service.
• Prepare ingredients by cleaning, cutting, portioning, and organizing mise en place.
• Cook and assemble dishes in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas, equipment, and surfaces.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Rotate and properly store food products to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Assist with inventory counts and report supply needs for high-cost items.
• Support other kitchen stations as needed to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist with closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and securing the kitchen.
