Job summary

The Tokeland Hotel in Washington state is seeking a dedicated full-time line cook to join our kitchen team, a Slow Food Snail of Approval award-winning restaurant focused on hyperlocal ingredients.

As a line cook you’ll run your own station, support the chef and sous chef, follow recipes and portion standards, and keep a clean, sanitary workspace. Starting wage is $18-22/hour with an equal share of the service charge (up to $30+), meals provided, potential staff housing, and holidays off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook preferred, with solid knife skills and strong palate.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one).
• No vaping, smoking or drama.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable full-time line cook to join our kitchen team. We are a Slow Food Snail of Approval Award-winning restaurant with a focus on cooking hyperlocal food.

You'll get to visit the farms and meet the farmers, growers, bakers, and makers behind what's on the plate, and take part in staff field trips throughout the year.
