Mountain View Center is hiring a full-time Recreation Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents through engaging activities that address physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs. You will help design monthly recreation services, document attendance, and join care plan meetings for integrated care.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively, stay organized, and engage positively with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Effective communicator with excellent verbal/written skills.
• Well-developed organizational abilities and record keeping skills.
• Able to positively engage with personnel, resident/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities that meet the physical, creative, cognitive, social, spiritual, and needs of patients/residents.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation level at recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
