CHRISTUS Health in Texarkana, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to implement treatment plans under supervision, document patient progress, and assist with discharge planning. You will support the Physical Therapist, supervise students and staff, and help maintain high-quality patient care while adhering to CORE values and safety standards.

The position is full-time with a 5-day, 8-hour schedule.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program or PTA certificate.
• BLS certification required; state licensure as PTA in Texas.

Responsabilidades

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the Physical Therapist direction.
• Document progress notes and adhere to department policies.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Supervise PTA students, rehab technicians, and volunteers as needed.
• Support scheduling, patient coverage, and quality care delivery.
