Job summary

AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Guard in Austin, TX to join a fast-growing provider dedicated to safety and asset protection. Since 2004, AX9 has grown and built a reputation for high safety standards and client trust.

You will perform access control, patrols, incident reporting, and enforce policies while engaging with clients and staff. This full-time role offers outdoor/indoor work, up to 25% travel, and the opportunity to develop professionally within a leading security

Qualifications

• Armed guard permit required.
• Security guard permit required.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Access Control: Manage entry for guests and customers.
• Policy Enforcement: Uphold client and company policies and procedures.
• Safety Monitoring: Observe and report fire and safety hazards.
• Patrol Duties: Conduct routine foot patrols around buildings and grounds.
• Incident Reporting: Communicate pertinent issues to the operations manager, clients, and other department managers.
• Public Interaction: Engage with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the public.
• Report Writing: Document incidents and observations accurately.
• Additional Duties: Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.
