About the Department:
The Translation Studies Program offers undergraduate and graduate education in translation and interpreting within the College of Liberal Arts. The new M.A. in Translation and Interpreting creates an immediate need for dedicated faculty expertise in interpreting. The program is situated in the multilingual region of Southern California and is positioned to develop partnerships with courts, healthcare systems, schools, governmental agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations. The successful candidate will help build a professionally grounded interpreting curriculum, expand bilingual and multilingual career pathways, and strengthen CSULB’s regional leadership in equitable language access.
