Job summary

Role Overview:

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, acting as a leader in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist with merchandise stocking, plan-o-gram implementation, and maintaining store presentation. Provide exceptional customer service, operate cash registers, handle transactions, and support store cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks, receive and unpack merchandise following store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays and restock returned items.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide superior service.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and manage register accountability.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits in the absence of supervisors.
• Monitor store security, cash levels, and ensure adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong math skills, cash handling knowledge, and ability to operate register systems.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and understanding of safety policies.
• Ability to follow plan-o-grams and presentation standards.

Experience & Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with at least six months of supervisory or related experience. Relocation assistance is not available.
