Role Overview:

This position involves leading department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals. Key responsibilities include ordering and managing inventory, properly cutting and preparing meats, validating received products, and maintaining product quality and freshness.

Core Duties:

Assist in managing a team to complete stocking and production tasks, ensure food safety and safety guidelines are followed, and maintain a clean, attractive department. Develop work schedules, control labor costs, and oversee performance management and associate development. Communicate and execute department plans, monitor forecasts, and participate in daily huddles.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED required. Basic math, reading, and interpretive skills necessary. Knowledge of suggestive selling and product details preferred. Must be detail-oriented with basic computer skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform tasks in a retail environment is essential.
