Job summary

Xanitos is hiring a Full time Lead EVS Hospital Housekeeper for Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. Shifts available: 1st and 2nd, 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:00pm-11:30pm. Rate: $17 per hour.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED and may include post-offer medical screens and background checks. Qualified applicants will support frontline EVS staff, assist with shift changes, and ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EVS frontline staff and daily operations.
• Help set up for shift changes and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide assistance to staff with housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and lockers.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors; dust furniture and equipment.

Xanitos is hiring a Full time Lead EVS Hospital Housekeeper for (1st and 2nd Shift) Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston TX.

• Immediate Offers will be Extended for Qualified Candidates!
• 1st Shift
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift
  • 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Hourly Pay Rate $17.00
• Includes every other weekend/holiday.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with EVSfrontline staff.
• Help set up for shift change.
• Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications:
