Xanitos is hiring a Full time Lead EVS Hospital Housekeeper for 2nd Shift at UMH-Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The role runs 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm and includes every other weekend/holiday. On-site position with a posted rate of $18.37 USD per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with EVS frontline staff, preparing for shift changes, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms, corridors, and common areas across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EVS frontline staff.
• Help set up for shift change.
• Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
