Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will guide co-teachers, manage a safe, nurturing classroom, and inspire a love of learning in infants to preschoolers.

We offer full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $17–$18.50 per hour. Join us to help children grow and thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred, at least 6 months required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children as needed.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s adventures and progress via apps and discussions.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement with staff and leadership.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
