Job summary

Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, PA, is seeking a Lead Restaurant Server to join our Culinary Services team at the Owl's Nest Restaurant on our Warwick Woodlands campus. The Lead Server oversees lunch and dinner service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents, families, staff and guests.

This full-time role requires strong interpersonal skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage staff, coordinate orders via a tablet, and perform light bartending during service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent; two years of college preferred.
• RAMP Certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Some supervisory experience a plus.
• Some brief bartending experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills with residents and staff.
• Basic mathematical calculations and comfort with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the dining room is clean, neat, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Greet and seat residents in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Greet tables using etiquette and use a tablet to take and send orders to kitchen.
• Ensure the bar is stocked and ready before dinner service.
• Perform light bartending duties during dinner service.
• Communicate with residents and staff about satisfaction with food and service.
• Perform duties of an Owl's Nest Server when needed.
• Close the restaurant, prep for next day, close out register, and lock up.
