Job summary

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring full-time Laundry Attendants to join our housekeeping team. The shift is 2p-10p with an every other weekend rotation, and weekly pay at $16 an hour. You will ensure residents' clothing and facility linens are properly cared for.

Education includes a High School Diploma or GED; housekeeping/laundry experience is preferred but not required. You must read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform duties and work well with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform required duties.
• Must possess the ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laundry in an efficient, clean, orderly, safe and sanitary manner to ensure clean clothing and linen are always available to meet the needs of the residents and facility.
• All laundry must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control and universal precautions.
• Follow washing instructions on each article of clothing/linen to ensure maximum care and cleanliness.
• Label unmarked clothes.
• Restock linens and return residents’ articles of clothing to their rooms.
• Other duties as assigned by team.
