Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Experience in housekeeping or laundry is preferred.
• Ability to learn laundering procedures and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Transports dirty linen to the laundry area and handles it safely.
• Washes, dries, folds, and sorts linens and residents’ clothes.
• Maintains laundry carts and keeps work areas clean and organized.
• Inspects chemical dispensers and ensures safe chemical usage.
• Attends in-service trainings and follows facility safety rules.
