Job summary

Silverado is hiring a Laundry Aide to maintain clean, comfortable, and dignified environments for residents in a memory care setting. You will perform laundry duties, support a hygienic community, and contribute to departmental and community goals with a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Full-time schedule, Sunday-Thursday, 11:00am-7:30pm, with benefits including 401(k) matching and health, dental, and vision insurance. Prioritize safety and respectful care for residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Schedule: Full Time, Sunday-Thursday (OFF Friday/Saturday), 11:00am-7:30pm

Anticipated pay range

$18 - $21 USD
