This is an opportunity to have a big impact and to be involved in a wide range of tasks, from direct customer support and site construction to new product development. We’re located in East Providence, R.I.

You will have opportunities to work independently, help shape our product development, work directly with customers and lead project appropriate to your level of knowledge and interests.

We're flexible, but these are kinds the traits and skills we are looking for:

• A solid foundation of HTML, CSS.
• A strong, modern sense of UX design. An appreciation or sensitivity to typography, photography, colors, etc.
• A quick, eager learner. Willingness to tackle a wide range of tasks. A self-starter.
• The ability to produce sites that accurately reflect our designs.
• Direct customer support is a big part of all our roles. Our customer base is professional and sophisticated but demanding. The ability to quickly diagnose and fix minor problems, or make minor code edits, be able to listen and discuss issues with clients in lay terminology, and to stay calm and cool under pressure is important.
• A good communicator in a team setting.
• Reliable person who is good at making deadlines. We will need you to take ownership and manage projects with little direction.
• Knowledge or experience or at least an interest in the news industry, especially newspapers.
• Experience in a modern library or framework like react or vue.
• SEO and/or social network marketing experience.
