Job summary

ServiceMaster Commercial Services is hiring for a Full-time Janitorial Staff in Gary New Duluth, MN. The role covers cleaning duties, restroom sanitation, and supply management with a 9:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday schedule at 32 hours per week.

Compensation is $18 per hour, with paid time off and opportunities for annual raises and bonuses. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment and chemicals
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be clean-shaven for respirator mask use

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Must be clean-shaven for respirator mask use
• Must also wear ankle-length pants & closed-toed shoes
