Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas for client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and may involve various buildings or facilities.

Position offers $15/hr with weekly pay and a 35-hour full-time schedule Mon-Sun 6a-11a. Training is provided; high school diploma or equivalent preferred, attention to detail essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months in a janitorial role.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste; operate compactor as needed.
• Clean windows and glass partitions; spot-clean carpets and assist with carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Use heavy cleaning equipment when required (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
