Central York School District is seeking a Full-Time Instructional Assistant to join the Central York Middle School instructional team in York, PA. The role supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth under the supervision of a certified professional.

Requirements include a High School diploma, current First Aid/CPR certification, and background checks. The position offers 7.25 hours per day, 186 days per year, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; advanced training a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Must obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Background Checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students, individually or in groups.
• Assist students with IEP goals and classroom activities.
• Monitor behavior and assist with on-task engagement, reporting issues.
• Prepare materials and support assessments and quizzes.
• Participate in IEP/team meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Support various departments and supervise students during transitions.
