Job summary

The Golisano Center for Special Needs seeks a Mental Health Therapy Aide to support inpatient units in Syracuse. You will participate in treatment plan implementation, assist with daily living tasks while protecting patient privacy and dignity, and manage data and behavioral procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage in daily meetings with the behavior team to discuss treatment plans.
• Participate in the implementation of treatment plans and assist with daily living tasks while protecting patient privacy and dignity.
• Manage data and participate in implementation of behavioral treatment procedures.
• Use time efficiently in the absence of specific responsibilities and conduct oneself professionally.
• Identify problems and suggest strategies for resolving issues; interact with colleagues professionally.
• Physical management of patients when required.
