Temple Beth El of Boca Raton is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher for the Infant/Toddler Rooms to support the Lead Teacher in a warm, developmentally rich setting. The role runs from 9am to 6pm and focuses on classroom instruction, daily routines, and social-emotional growth.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with 2+ years of experience, and are prepared to obtain CPR/First Aid if needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children.
• Completion of Introductory Childcare Training (45 hours) or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.Must meet all applicable state and local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Support daily care routines including feeding, napping, diapering/toileting, and hygiene.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Observe and support children’s developmental milestones.
• Encourage positive behavior, independence, and self-confidence.
• Communicate effectively with families and team members.
