Responsibilities

• Communication - Work with team to complete clear documentation and written reports for parents, co-workers and regulatory agents; provide non-judgmental support for parents.
• Assessment - Assess each child's development using progress reports, screenings and observations; share findings with the team.
• Compliance and Regulations - Maintain knowledge of and comply with NAEYC ethics, local regulations and CACFP requirements.
• Improvement - Recommend improvements, assist with budgeting and staffing to enhance operations.
• Child Development - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support social, emotional, physical and intellectual development; guide children's behavior.
• Provide care and supervision of children in a child care or classroom setting.
