Job summary

M & R Printing in Roselle, IL is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build and wire electrical control panels for industrial machinery. You will interpret electrical schematics, install wiring, and test systems to ensure safety and engineering standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and machine components per schematics and drawings.
• Route, strip, crimp, and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, relays and devices.
• Solder and terminate electrical connections using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Mount electrical hardware and components by drilling and tapping panels.
• Install breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC components, and power supplies.
• Perform electrical system testing to verify proper operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and components as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Build and wire industrial control panels or machinery.
• Utilize mechanical aptitude with electrical hand tools.
