Job summary

M&R Printing Equipment, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician for Research & Development in Roselle, IL. You will build, troubleshoot, and repair equipment during engineering development and validation phases, working with engineers to test new models.

Responsibilities include installing wiring, panels, and lighting; inspecting components; diagnosing issues with various testing devices; and reading complex electrical schematics to guide builds.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to read and build machines using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.
• Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot and repair future model printing equipment during development.
• Install and maintain wiring, control panels and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using testing devices and tools.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers on new designs.
