Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve the Greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia. You’ll practice hospice and euthanasia care as a mobile veterinarian, visiting families in their homes across Hampton, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Newport News and surrounding areas.

You’ll join a veterinarian-founded group that values balance, mentorship, and independent practice with ongoing support and a strong culture of kindness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets.
• Travel to home visits across the Greater Hampton Roads region across multiple areas including Hampton, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Newport News.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in The Greater Hampton Roads Region of Virginia, including Hampton, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Newport News and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
