Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Northern Virginia (including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax and Falls Church) seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes. This role honors your time, supports your well-being, and reconnects you with why you became a veterinarian.

This veterinarian-founded company offers onboarding, mentorship, and a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week) with a strong, supportive community of professionals across the region.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in a mobile, in-home setting.
• Practice veterinary medicine at clients' homes across Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church and surrounding areas).
• Join a supportive community with ongoing training and mentorship.

Veterinarian Salary Range:

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Northern Virginia including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax and Falls Church and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
