Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve the Greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia, including Hampton and surrounding areas. You will join a mobile practice offering hospice and euthanasia services in clients' homes, prioritizing work-life balance and compassionate care.

The role requires a DVM/VMD/BVMS and a valid US driver’s license, with weekend availability and ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Ability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will undergo background and motor vehicle record checks.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in The Greater Hampton Roads Region of Virginia, including Hampton, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Williamsburg, Newport News and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
