Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to join our Jersey Shore team covering Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate medicine in clients' homes.

You will join a community of veterinarians and support staff, with ongoing mentorship, onboarding, and a wellness-centered culture designed to help you balance professional fulfillment with personal well-being.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driverfbd license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice veterinary medicine with compassion in clients' homes.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and practice managers to ensure quality care.

Veterinarian Salary Range: 3‑day, 4‑day, 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Jersey Shore, NJ, including Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, Jackson Township, Howell Township and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $117,500 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day Full‑Time and Part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
