Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an enthusiastic In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve the Jersey Shore, NJ area. The role focuses on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care delivered in clients’ homes, offering a balance between professional fulfillment and personal life. The position supports flexible schedules with part-time (2-day/week) or full-time (3–5 days) opportunities.

A DVM and valid U.S. driver’s license are required, with background checks prior to start.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability as part of role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with aid.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date.
