Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in the San Francisco North Bay area seeks a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia services across Santa Rosa and surrounding communities. This role emphasizes practicing with purpose while maintaining balance and well-being.

You'll join a network of over 400 veterinarians, benefit from onboarding and mentorship, and a 24/7 Support Center. Schedule options include 3/4/5 days with base salaries up to $150,000, plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for patients in-home.
• Practice medicine with purpose while supporting families during meaningful moments.

• Veterinarian Salary Range 3-day, 4-day, 5-day full-time opportunities are available in San Francisco North Bay, CA, including Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, Concord, Novato, Santa Rosa, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $135,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $150,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
