Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a dedicated in-home veterinarian in East Bay, CA, serving Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Hayward, Richmond, Walnut Creek, Concord and surrounding areas. This mobile position emphasizes compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in a supportive, mentor-led environment.

You will join a community of veterinarians and support staff with ongoing training, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center, enabling a balanced life while practicing meaningful medicine.

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the East Bay, CA, area including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Hayward, Richmond, Walnut Creek, Concord, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
