Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join as a full-time in-home veterinarian in the Phoenix area. You’ll deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care at clients’ homes, with flexible 2-5 day schedules and strong support from a national network.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required and license active in the United States.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive to client homes.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets at clients' homes.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Phoenix, Peoria, Queen Creek, Glendale, Mesa, Goodyear, AZ and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
