Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve the Orange County area in California, including Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach, Anaheim, and Santa Ana. This mobile veterinary practice focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, enabling you to practice with purpose while maintaining work-life balance.

You’ll join a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center to help you shine

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care.
• Practice compassionate medicine in clients' homes and communities.
• Maintain professional standards and client communication while working independently.

*Veterinarian Salary Range

3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Orange County, CA, including Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, CA and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
