Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Orange County, CA is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes across Orange County and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes work-life balance, mentorship, and flexible scheduling.

As a mobile practice, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality medicine with support from a large veterinary community and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. drivers license.
• Ability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Orange County, CA, including Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, CA and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)


• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license


• Availability to work some weekends


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance


• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
