Job summary

Lap of Love, a mobile veterinary hospice, is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to support families in Inland Empire, CA. You will provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, offering compassionate medical attention while maintaining clinical excellence.

This role emphasizes work-life balance with flexible scheduling and a strong mentorship culture, backed by a national network of veterinarians and support staff.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required to practice in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients' homes.
• Serve as a mobile veterinarian in Inland Empire, CA and surrounding areas.
• Deliver high-quality medical care with empathy and clear communication to pet owners.
• Engage in onboarding and ongoing mentorship provided by Lap of Love.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in in Inland Empire, CA, including Riverside, Corona, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Fontana, Beaumont, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends

• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
