Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Lehigh County, PA, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, and surrounding areas. This mobile role lets you practice compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly in clients' homes, blending professional fulfillment with personal freedom.

As part of a community of 400+ veterinarians, you’ll receive ongoing mentorship, flexible 2-5 day schedules, and a supportive onboarding process designed to help you thrive

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Maintain high-quality patient care with a focus on client communication and comfort.
• Practice independently with ongoing mentorship and support from Lap of Love.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Lehigh County, PA, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Macungie, Emmaus, East Stroudsburg, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)


• Must possess a valid U.S.\'s driver's license


• Availability to work some weekends


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance


• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
