Lap of Love is hiring an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Albuquerque, NM, and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, offering a fulfilling alternative to in-clinic practice and the freedom to practice with purpose.

You’ll join a community of veterinarians and support staff with onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center to help you shine in your independent practice while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required or equivalent.
• Able to work in-home/hospice setting.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Background and motor vehicle record checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide humane hospice and euthanasia care in pets for families in homes.
• Travel to Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, Corrales, Sandia Park, Santa Fe, Tijeras and surrounding areas.
• Offer compassionate medical care and support to pets and their owners during end-of-life moments.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, Corrales, Sandia Park, Santa Fe, Tijeras, NM and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
