Job summary

Bay Aging in Colonial Beach, VA is seeking a full-time Home Care Aide to support clients in their homes. The role offers hourly pay of $18.50, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 200 hours and a $250 referral bonus.

Daily duties include following care plans, assisting with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe living environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday with every other weekend; benefits include health, retirement, life insurance, leave, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 16 hours of basic training in patient care and home management preferred.
• FLSA status: non-exempt.

Responsibilities

• Follow the care plan and provide continuous companionship to the client.
• Assist with self-care, meal prep, and light housekeeping in the home.
• Monitor health and safety, check for hazards, report changes.
• Document services daily and communicate any changes to the supervisor.
