Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking an Imaging Operator to prepare, perform, and understand imaging department exams, including x-rays, EKGs, hearing tests, and spirometry where applicable. The role requires collaboration with staff to maintain workflow and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

The position is full-time with rotating day shifts (no weekends, evenings, or holidays) and a starting wage of $23.76 per hour, increasing with experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have passed Minnesota X-ray Operator’s test; if exam after Jan 1, 2008, core exam and anatomy module tests within 1 year of hire.
• NIOSH Certification (site specific) among hire within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) current AHA Healthcare Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform, and understand imaging department exams (x-rays, EKGs, hearing tests, spirometry where applicable).
• Collaborate with staff to maintain flow and efficiency in the clinic.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care as part of the team.
