Job summary

Dinasty Security is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to coordinate day-to-day HR functions for 100+ security officers across three shifts. This onsite role manages full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, compliance, records, and benefits, and prepares decision-ready summaries for leadership and legal review.

You will work with federal and California employment law, maintain confidential files, and support audits, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience in a high-volume environment (hourly workforce)
• Proficiency with ADP and ATS
• Working knowledge of federal and California employment law including leave and accommodations
• Ability to document sensitive matters accurately for leadership and legal review
• Discretion handling confidential and legally sensitive information
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting strategy and full-cycle hiring in a high-volume environment — sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
• Process new hires in ADP; complete E-Verify / I-9 verification, background checks, and onboarding documents
• Facilitate new-hire orientation and maintain confidential personnel files
• Administer employee benefits including annual health insurance renewal and open enrollment
• Administer and track leaves of absence — FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA/FEHA accommodations
• Intake, document, and coordinate field complaints and employee-relations matters with summaries for leadership
• Prepare termination documentation; handle employment verifications and EDD documentation
• Manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end and coordinate with carriers
• Track turnover and key HR metrics; report to leadership
• Maintain job descriptions and support HR audits and recordkeeping
• Ensure HR processes comply with federal, California, and company regulations

ABOUT THE ROLE

Dinasty Security is a licensed private patrol operator providing 24/7 security services across Southern California. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to coordinate the day-to-day HR function for a workforce of 100+ security officers across three shifts. This role owns full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume environment and serves as the operational backbone of HR — onboarding, compliance, records, and benefits. On sensitive matters, this role gathers facts, documents accurately, and prepares decision-ready summaries for executive and legal review. Ideal for a detail-driven professional with a strong command of federal and California employment law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead recruiting strategy and full-cycle hiring in a high-volume environment — sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews with the recruiting team

• Process new hires in ADP; complete E-Verify / I-9 verification, background checks, and onboarding documentation

• Facilitate new-hire orientation andmaintainaccurate, confidential personnel files

• Administer employee benefits, including annual health insurance renewal and open enrollment

• Administer and track leaves of absence — FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), and ADA / FEHA accommodations — including eligibility,requirednotices, and documentation for leadership and legal review

• Intake, document, and coordinate field complaints and employee-relations matters; prepareaccurate, decision-ready summaries for executive and legal review

• Prepare termination and separation documentation for leadership approval; handle employment verifications and EDD documentation

• Manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end — file and report incidents, assemble claim documentation, coordinate with carriers, and follow up through resolution

• Track and report turnover and key HR metrics to leadership

• Maintain job descriptions and provide general administrative support to HR; support HR audits and recordkeeping

• Ensure HR processescomply withfederal, California, and company employment regulations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a high-volume, hourly workforce (security, staffing, orlogistics)

• Proficiencywith ADP and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Working knowledge of federal and California employment law, including leave administration (FMLA, CFRA, PDL), accommodations (ADA / FEHA), wage-and-hour, and workers' compensation

• Proven ability to document sensitive matters accurately and prepare them for leadership and legal decision-making

• Demonstrated discretion handling confidential and legally sensitive information

• Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred

PREFERRED

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification

• Experience in private security or guard services (BSIS / guard-card familiarity)

COMPENSATION & GROWTH

• $32–$35 / hour, non-exempt (depending on experience), with a formal performance review at 6 months

• Defined advancement path toward Senior HR Generalist / HR Manager
